About The Position
This position is for a Full-Time Nanny in Fox Chapel, PA, starting in mid-September. The role involves caring for a 4-month-old baby and occasionally covering for the 3-year-old's daycare closures. The parents work from home and are looking for a nanny who can confidently manage the baby's routine, engage in age-appropriate play, and assist with light household tasks related to the children and the family's two small dogs. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with infants, be nurturing, proactive, organized, communicative, trustworthy, reliable, playful, and creative. The family seeks a nanny who can become a positive, trusted presence for about a year.
Requirements
- Fully up to date on recommended vaccines.
- Must have a driver's license.
- Must have a vehicle.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Previous nanny experience for a minimum of 2 years.
- Significant experience caring for infants and enjoying newborn and early developmental stages.
- Ideally, five or more years of nanny experience.
- Confident in guiding feeding routines, naps, and age-appropriate activities.
- Gentle, patient, and deeply attentive.
- Proactive and organized.
- Communicative and emotionally aware.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- Playful and creative in engaging babies.
- Comfortable working in a home where parents are present but focused on work.

Responsibilities
- Caring for a 4-month-old baby throughout the workday.
- Engaging in age-appropriate play, talking, singing, tummy time, and floor play to support developmental milestones.
- Guiding the baby's routine including feeding, soothing, and naps.
- Providing coverage for the 3-year-old's daycare closures.
- Assisting with light household tasks such as washing bottles, family dishes, children’s meal prep, children’s laundry, tidying play areas, and restocking nursery supplies.
- Feeding and watering the family's two small dogs, and occasionally taking them for a short walk.
- Becoming a calm, supportive presence for the baby and family for approximately one year.
