About The Position

A family in North Jacksonville is seeking a nanny and house manager for their 3-year-old son and 6-month-old baby. The toddler enjoys outdoor activities, running, dancing, and learning through play, and needs a caregiver who can keep him engaged while building structure into his day. The mother will primarily care for the baby initially while building trust with the nanny, with the nanny’s responsibilities for the baby growing over time. The baby enjoys walks, books, sensory play, singing, and dancing. This is a nanny and house manager role involving childcare and household support. Household duties include light housekeeping, family laundry, keeping floors clean, organizing the children’s rooms and clothing, unpacking deliveries, and household organization projects. Other duties include light meal preparation for the children, cleaning bottles, maintaining diaper stations, and communicating when supplies run low. Occasional date-night care may be added in the future. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:30/10:00 a.m. to 3:30/4:00 p.m. The family values kindness, mutual respect, strong communication, initiative, and excellent time management. The caregiver should be dependable, take pride in their work, respect the parents’ work-from-home environment, and be willing to help wherever needed.
