About The Position

A welcoming family in Dunwoody is seeking a proactive, organized Nanny/Family Assistant to care for two children and help keep the household running smoothly. This split-shift position averages 28–30 hours per week, with a minimum of 25 guaranteed hours. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:50 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; occasional weekend work of about four hours may be needed. The ideal candidate is warm, outgoing, detail-oriented, and naturally takes initiative. The children enjoy sports, outdoor play, music, and creative activities. The family is looking for someone who is engaging and fun while also being firm, consistent with discipline, and confident in setting boundaries. A professional, teachable attitude, strong follow-through, and the ability to anticipate the family’s needs are essential. A family vehicle is provided, and the current nanny will help train the successful candidate. Occasional overnight care or travel is a plus but is not required.

Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years of experience.
Warm, outgoing, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative.
Professional and teachable attitude, strong follow-through, and ability to anticipate the family’s needs.
Able to engage children in activities while maintaining firm, consistent discipline and setting boundaries.

Responsibilities

Care for the family’s two children.
Support morning routines and pack snacks and water bottles.
Drive the children to and from school.
Help with evening baths and pajamas.
Assist with kitchen cleanup, children’s laundry, making beds, and light household organization.
Occasionally prepare meals, run errands, and shop for groceries.
Provide occasional overnight care or travel, if available.
