About The Position
A welcoming family in Austin, TX 78732 is seeking a reliable, self-starter nanny/housekeeper to provide morning care and household support for their 4-year-old and 2-year-old children. This family maintains a pet-free and smoke-free home environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM, totaling 15 hours per week. The family values a high degree of caregiver autonomy, trust, and strong organizational skills. Perks include pantry/beverage access, a paid day off for your birthday, and mileage reimbursement if using your vehicle on the job.
Requirements
- Proven childcare experience with toddlers and preschoolers
- Professional housekeeping or Family Assistant experience (specifically with laundry, ironing, and light cleaning)
- Physical ability to push a double stroller on hilly terrain in warm weather
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities
- Manage the morning routine for two young children, including dressing and morning preparation
- Prepare and serve breakfast for the children
- Transport children to school via double stroller (a 15-minute walk each way in hilly terrain)
- Manage household tasks following morning drop-off, including laundry, ironing, and light housekeeping
