About The Position

A laid-back, welcoming Seattle family is seeking a nurturing nanny to care for their infant daughter as they transition back to work this fall. Both parents work in the tech industry, with Mom working from home full-time and Dad working from home a few days each week. The ideal candidate is comfortable partnering with parents who are present throughout the day while still confidently taking the lead on childcare. The family values open communication, honesty, humor, and creating a positive working relationship. The home is a multi-level townhome with nearby parks. The position is centered around providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care for one infant throughout the workday. Responsibilities include bottle feeding and cleaning bottles and bottle parts, following established feeding and sleep routines, engaging in age-appropriate play, encouraging developmental milestones, taking daily stroller walks, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. Additional responsibilities include the baby's laundry, keeping the nursery and play areas clean and organized, and maintaining open communication with the parents through brief daily check-ins and ongoing collaboration about schedules, milestones, and upcoming appointments or activities. This is a childcare-focused role with an emphasis on consistency, communication, and creating a positive daily routine.
