About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a quota-carrying sales performer to grow its public-sector customer base in the state community. The role focuses on Data Foundations for Justice and Public Safety and Finance and Administration, supporting government agencies and their system integrators as they use social, mobile, cloud, and analytics technologies. The position is responsible for developing new business in existing accounts and driving strategic, enterprise-wide analytics and application-platform initiatives. The successful candidate will forecast sales, achieve revenue targets, build satisfied and loyal reference customers, and lead pursuit teams by coordinating a broad matrix of support personnel to win new business. The posting identifies the location as Northeast/Mid-Atlantic.

Requirements

At least 10 years of enterprise sales experience.
Prior state and local government enterprise IT complex-sales experience.
Strong sales forecasting abilities and a record of revenue achievement.
Skill in developing new sales opportunities.
