This position will ensure that all GTRS policies and procedures are followed and provide our guests with memorable and exceptional spa experiences. Weekends are a requirement for this position. The Nail Technician will educate guests in health enhancement and wellness, sell related retail products, and recommend appropriate services based on guest needs. They must be knowledgeable about current service offerings, promotions, and policies, managing service time according to established protocols. The role involves providing quality nail care services, advising clients on nail care and product usage, and covering all scheduled hours. Maintaining the cleanliness and stocking of the spa, including workspaces, is also a key responsibility. The technician will relay guest concerns to management, maintain thorough knowledge of job practices, and stay updated on department correspondence. Attendance at mandatory meetings and trainings is required. The role demands professionalism, a positive attitude, good rapport with colleagues, and open communication with supervisors. Maintaining superior working relations with internal and external customers to ensure a memorable experience is crucial. The technician must be accountable for all work duties and performance expectations, lead by example, and respond positively to instructions. Providing and receiving feedback constructively is essential, as is ensuring work is completed safely, adhering to standard operating procedures and using personal protective equipment. Uniform and appearance standards must be met, and GTRS Core Values exemplified. Accountability for GTRS policies and procedures, along with compliance with workplace health and safety regulations (OSHA and MIOSHA), is mandatory. Other duties as assigned.
