About The Position

The Nail Technician will consult with clients about their needs and preferences, provide recommendations on services and products, and perform various nail treatments. This role requires providing friendly and professional service, understanding the spa's menu of services and products, and answering guest questions. The technician must stay up-to-date on licensing requirements and beauty trends, perform up to 6 treatments daily, and adhere to Chamonix Spa Salon's guest service, journey rules, and luxury standards. Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment in compliance with all policies and procedures is crucial. Regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent presence during scheduled work hours are fundamental requirements for the effective and efficient operation of the business. Special projects may also be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience.
• Completion of a state-approved cosmetology or nail technician program.
• Must hold a valid Colorado Nail Technician or Cosmetology license as required by the state.
• Demonstrated experience working in a spa or salon.
• Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
• Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Creativity and an eye for detail.
• Desire to perform exceptional nail care coupled with a fantastic guest experience.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred one (1) or more years of recent and related salon or spa experience.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients about their needs and preferences.
• Provide recommendations on appropriate services and products.
• Perform manicure and pedicure treatments.
• Apply polish, acrylics, and other nail enhancements.
• Provide friendly and professional service to all guests and employees.
• Understand and relay information regarding the menu of services and products sold.
• Answer any questions that guests may have in regards to the spa.
• Remain up to date on Nail Technician or Cosmetologist license renewal.
• Stay up to date with various nail beauty trends.
• Perform up to 6 treatments daily.
• Ensure adherence to Chamonix Spa Salon guest service and journey rules.
• Maintain and follow Chamonix Spa Salon luxury standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, health standards, and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and consistent presence during scheduled work hours.
• Perform special projects as needed.
