Nail Technician - Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Clinic
About The Position
The Nail Technician provides nail care services in an ambulatory setting under the direct supervision of licensed clinical professionals while maintaining infection control and nail standards. The role uses age-appropriate patient care and cultural awareness to address the physical and psychological needs of patients from adolescence through geriatrics. Duties also include preparing treatment areas, cleaning medical equipment and patient care areas, disposing of biomedical waste according to standards and policy, monitoring medical inventory, and identifying opportunities to improve patient care.
Requirements
- Nail licensure with the Board of Cosmetology in the state(s) of practice is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail and cosmetology experience is preferred.
Responsibilities

- Clean medical equipment and patient care areas or treatment rooms.
- Dispose of biomedical waste in accordance with standards and policy.
- Monitor medical inventory and restock or reorder as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve patient care.
