About The Position

Prov is hiring a part-time Cosmetology Test Examiner to oversee exams in Fife, Washington. The examiner provides clear verbal instructions, maintains the integrity of the test-taking environment, and ensures candidates follow established protocols. The role focuses on seamless exam administration, monitoring the environment, and enforcing guidelines set by the National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC), while avoiding prohibited communication with examiners or candidates. The position offers flexible hours, work 1–2 days per week, and pays $22 per hour. Applicants must be licensed in Washington as a Master Esthetician or nail technician and have industry knowledge. Applicants may not work at, speak at, visit, or receive services from an industry-related school, and may not evaluate anyone they know personally or professionally. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background screening.

Requirements

Licensed in Washington State as a Master Esthetician or nail technician, with industry knowledge.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable using technology and business software.
