About The Position

This role will support Snack Food operations through daily overseeing of inventory from one location (Wet or Pack) to the other location. The primary function is to ensure accurate and timely inventory transactions within the delegated department. This position requires extended hours based on production needs, including work after regular business hours and on weekends.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and not currently enrolled in high school.
• Basic math skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to neatly and accurately complete paperwork
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Hand/eye coordination
• Handling (holding, grasping)
• Seeing/depth perception
• Lift 50 lbs.
• Push/pull 400 lbs.
• Walk/stand 100% of shift

Responsibilities

• Perform all work in a safe manner and remain aware of continuous improvement opportunities for safety.
• Verify all inventory transactions within your delegated department are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
• Validate counts on materials going to and coming from the warehouse area.
• Confirm the counts and transactions of items being produced on your respective lines.
• Report any major discrepancies in the inventory to your supervisor.
• Take an inventory of your respective area daily and match to the system, resolving errors where necessary.
• Review respective work orders at the end of shift to ensure accuracy of all items produced and materials used.
• Perform any other assigned tasks or duties by your supervisor.
• End of shift Scanner and Skidder meet to verify case quantity count.
