About The Position

This person is responsible for the setup, operate and troubleshoot both the Yellow Mustard and Grey Poupon kitchen systems while following safety and food quality procedures; assemble ingredients and make GP/YM batches for various products set to run in production or for bulk products. The Holland Plant has been around since 1897 and produces products such as Sweet relish, Grey Poupon mustard, yellow mustard, vinegar, pickle variations, and BBQ sauce. This is a union facility represented by the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU).

Requirements

  • Kraft Heinz issued forklift operator license required.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Upon hire will train to become Lock Out Tag Out certified and maintain qualification.
  • Must successfully pass on the job training and maintain operator qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe manner, following all general safety rules of the plant, including PPE requirements and escalating safety defects and concerns.
  • Assure that we are always working to meet or exceed our quality standards, including following GMP requirements, inspecting raw materials and finished goods, completing quality documentation, managing critical control points, completing quality testing and making adjustments, assisting in rework, and escalating quality defects and concerns.
  • Operate and load the mustard seed delivery system on 1st floor.
  • Take batch samples made to QA for Analytical Checks.
  • Inspect magnets, filters/strainers and check for foreign materials.
  • Troubleshoot any issues in the batching system or processing equipment.
  • Fill out and update the OSCAR boards every hour.
  • Assemble the tote fill system to pull from the mustard tanks/vats.
  • Setup, fill and prep all bulk mustard products for shipping.
  • Support QRMP initiatives throughout the department.
  • Verify correct recipe has been programmed on the HMI.
  • Assemble and setup the kitchen and storage areas entirely.
  • Support Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) at the operator level, including participation in Shift Hand Offs Meetings, Level 1 Meetings, Performance Boards, Centerline Management (CLM), Clean to Inspect and Reapply Lubrication (CIL), 5S, Defect Handling, Start Up/Shut Down, Changeovers, and Daily Problem Handling.
  • Work with support departments to improve line performance.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Perform any other duty as assigned by supervisor or lead person.
