About The Position

The Vocal Director is responsible for everything related to vocal music in the musical. This includes the technique and study of the music in the score for soloists and chorus members. This professional will work with students independently and ensure that school policies and safety procedures are followed. This artist is available from auditions throughout the run of the show.

Requirements

• Availability for auditions and callbacks on September 10th and 11th, 2026.
• Availability for vocal music rehearsals at least 3 days a week from 3:30-7:30 PM from September 14th - October 26, 2026.
• Availability for dress rehearsals from 4:00-9:00 PM from October 26- November 11, 2026.
• Availability for warm-ups one hour before each performance on November 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 2026.
• Ability to report to the Producing Director.
• Ability to collaborate and create with all production staff members.
• Capability of making changes to the score as necessary to accommodate the performer within legal/copyright obligations.

Responsibilities
