About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced Musical Theater Instructor to join Vantage Pointe Dance Studios in Wellington, FL. This role involves inspiring and nurturing students in musical theater dance through engaging, in-person lessons. The studio focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment and aims to develop important life skills in students, going beyond just dance technique. The schedule for this position is Fridays from 6:00-8:00 PM.
Requirements
- Strong background in musical theater required for this position.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
Responsibilities
- Instructing students in musical theater dance across various skill levels
- Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
- Choreographing routines for our biannual performances.
- Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching dance.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
