About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Dance Instructor to join Vantage Pointe Dance Studios in Wellington, FL. This role involves teaching early childhood tap/ballet combo classes, jazz, and acro. The studio focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment and aims to develop important life skills in students through dance. The position offers a flexible schedule within the studio's open hours and a supportive work environment.
Requirements
- Pass a routine background check

- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields
- Strong background in musical theater
Responsibilities
- Instructing students in ballet, tap, jazz and acro at an early childhood level
- Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs
- Choreographing routines for biannual performances
- Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment
- Providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Being energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching dance
- Providing reliable transportation and passing a routine background check
- Exhibiting traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness
