About The Position

Schmitt Music is seeking full, part-time or seasonal Musical Instrument Sales Associate for our Fargo, ND location. The purpose of this job is to provide excellent customer service, meet sales goals and help fill the world with music. The successful candidate will help fulfill our mission: Enriching lives by helping people make music.

Requirements

• Background in music
• Ability to work with a team
• Knowledge of music products and instruments required
• Band and orchestra product knowledge required
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
• Superior organizational and follow-up skills to ensure responsibilities and goals are met within defined deadlines
• Detail oriented, able to prioritize work while under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Effective and efficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft programs required
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends
• Valid Driver’s License
• Background check required
