About The Position

This position is for a Music Therapy Supervisor/Visiting Lecturer within a Temporary Employee Pool. The role involves clinical supervision and classroom teaching. Appointments as a Lecturer are for a specific period and are not tenure-eligible. Each appointment will be reviewed according to University guidelines before renewal.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or its equivalent in music therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience (or its equivalent in part-time work).
• For classroom teaching: Master’s degree or its equivalent in the field of specialization and promise of teaching success and of scholarly or artistic achievements.
• If no Master's degree, equivalent educational or professional experience in the appropriate area of instructional responsibility is required, with a statement of equivalence in the recommendation for appointment.

Nice To Haves

• College-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical experience for music therapy students.
• Teach music therapy courses at the college level.
