About The Position

ViaQuest Community Solutions (VCS) is seeking passionate Board Certified Music Therapists (MT-BC) to join one of Indiana's most respected interdisciplinary therapy teams. This role offers opportunities for experienced clinicians and newly certified therapists to make a meaningful difference for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy
  • Board Certification (MT-BC)
  • Valid Indiana driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance
  • Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area

Responsibilities

  • Providing individualized music therapy services in home and community settings
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers
  • Developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans
  • Utilizing a strengths-based clinical approach
  • Supporting growth in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, coping skills, motor development, cognitive functioning, attention and focus, and body awareness and coordination
  • Using music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating as an active member of each individual's support team
