About The Position

Provides prescriptive deliveries of music with harp and voice to address the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of palliative care and dying patients throughout the continuum of care. Provides education about music-thanatology to staff and the community. The role is with Providence Holy Family Hospital and is part of a patient-focused, whole-person care environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Coursework or training sufficient to meet the certification requirements determined by the Music-Thanatology Association International (MTAI).
• MTAI certification within two years of hire.

• One year of Music Thanatology experience.
