About The Position
Warrendale Charter Academy is seeking a Music Teacher for students in grades K–8. The teacher will create an engaging classroom environment, use the academy’s curriculum and instructional resources to support student academic success, and use student data to inform instruction. The role involves collaborating professionally with teachers and support staff to address students’ goals and individual needs, as well as participating in professional development and orientation activities. Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Hold a valid teacher license or meet alternative requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate professionally with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.
- Create, manage, and participate in professional development and orientation activities.
- Create a classroom environment that is engaging and conducive to learning.
- Implement curricular resources based on students’ needs.
- Analyze and use student data to inform teaching.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
