About The Position
This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Dorothy Hamm Middle School for SY27. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly with staff, parents, and community members, and maintain flexibility, dependability, and organization. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, able to collaborate effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and excellent written and oral communication are essential.
Requirements
- Experience teaching middle and/or high school students.
- Successful teaching experience and curricular knowledge.
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
- Must be endorsed in Instrumental music.
Nice To Haves
- Experience implementing best practices in Strings Instruction.
- Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required.
