About The Position
This role involves providing academic support to music students at Regent University. The peer tutor will assist students in understanding course concepts, navigating assignments, and meeting the needs of the music & worship arts department. The position requires a commitment to Regent's core values.
Requirements
- A Music Major or a Music Minor
- Have taken MUSC 220, MUSC 221, and MUSC 101 at Regent University between 2021 and 2026.
- Currently actively involved in the music department
- Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity
Responsibilities
- Make an appointment or have an office hour to meet with music students who need help
- Help students who need assistance understanding concepts being taught in class by an instructor
- Navigate the assignments with the students so they understand how to complete them correctly
- Assist with the needs of the music & worship arts department when needed
