About The Position
Regent University is seeking a Music Student Peer Tutor to assist music students with understanding course concepts and assignments. This role also involves supporting the music & worship arts department with various needs. The position requires a commitment to Regent's core values.
Requirements
- A Music Major or a Music Minor
- Have taken MUSC 220, MUSC 221, and MUSC 101 at Regent University between 2021 and 2026.
- Currently actively involved in the music department
- Commitment to Regent’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity
Responsibilities
- Make an appointment or have an office hour to meet with music students who need help
- Help students who need assistance understanding concepts being taught in class by an instructor
- Navigate the assignments with the students so they understand how to complete them correctly
- Assist with the needs of the music & worship arts department when needed
