About The Position
Organizes the choral music library and oversees the cataloging of new music, the filing of music, the distribution of scores, the filling of singers' folders, and all things related to the choral (and ensemble) library. Requires initiative and invention in solving problems related to music storage. Work is particularly intense at the beginning of the semester and at the end of the year, when music is distributed and returned. Applicants must be enrolled in a Music Department ensemble.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a Music Department ensemble
- Perform routine technical tasks under moderate supervision
- Exercise moderate levels of independent judgment and initiative
- Possess a high degree of discretion with confidential information
- Possess software and computer knowledge
- Possess previous technology experience
- Excellent communication skills
