Job Description: The Arts & Humanities Department at Jefferson Community College is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for an immediate need in Music. Candidates are needed to teach the following courses: Fundamentals of Music, Music Appreciation, History of American Popular Music, History of Rock and Roll, Music Appreciation, and Music Theory.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Music, the concentration would depend on the course.
- Prior teaching experience at the college level is required.
- Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education.
