Requirements

• Proven experience leading engaging guided tours tailored to various visitor groups.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to clearly explain historical context and exhibit significance.
• Exceptional customer service aptitude, addressing visitor inquiries and providing assistance effectively.
• Ability to adapt tours and educational programs to meet different audience needs.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and commitment to visitor safety.
• Upholds high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions
• Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring and supporting team members.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with museum content and best practices.
• Proficient in cash handling and maintaining accurate records of tours.
• Prior experience in customer service, public speaking, or teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging guided tours for various visitor groups, providing explanations of exhibits
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing visitor inquiries and offering assistance throughout their museum experience.
• Maintain current knowledge of exhibits and museum content through continuous training and professional development.
• Ensure visitor safety by following established protocols and implementing emergency procedures when necessary.
• Operate cash register
• Knowledge of products sold
• Answers phone practicing proper phone etiquette
• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with duty lists and standards
