The Museum Educator develops and implements educational programs for Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County visitors. This role involves leading the development and presentation of engaging educational and interdisciplinary programs, with a focus on children and family audiences, as well as standards-driven field trip programming. The position also assists in the creation and maintenance of an early childhood education gallery space, operates the Museum front desk, handles money, opens and closes the Museum, leads tours, and maintains records related to educational programming. The role also supports ongoing activities, special programs, and clerical duties of the Museum, and observes Library Board policies and procedures.
