The Summer Analyst Program invites high-performing rising seniors for a 10-week program focused on municipal finance, providing exposure to various transactions and development initiatives. Analysts will develop foundational skills in financial problem-solving, negotiation, and execution, as well as gain experience in marketing the firm's products and services.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate students entering their final year of study at an accredited four-year college or university, graduating in Spring 2028 or December 2027.
  • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of finance and accounting preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provides analytical, research, and transactional support to investment bankers in all departmental work activities relating to the structuring and issuance of municipal bonds, and/or related financial advisory services.
  • Prepares cash flow projections and related financial analyses for potential and actual capital markets transactions.
  • Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information necessary to prepare proposals, client presentations, offering statements, and marketing materials.
  • Assists in the preparation of proposals for prospective clients, detailing financing alternatives, and the firm's capabilities in originating, structuring, marketing, and underwriting an issue.
  • Enhances the department’s use and knowledge of available information pertaining to the municipal capital markets by collecting, organizing, and maintaining various marketing materials and information resources.
  • Coordinates internal and external activities related to the pricing and settlement of debt transactions.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
