Municipal Engineer
About The Position
Growing national firm is seeking a Municipal Engineer for their Chicago office! This role involves providing technical guidance and leadership on municipal drinking water projects, including the creation of detailed master plans, designs, plans/specifications, and estimates. Projects encompass treatment plants, tanks, pump/booster stations, and water storage/conveyance system infrastructure. The position also includes project management, assisting with business development and proposal completion, client interviews, delivering quality work on time and within budget, staying current on regulatory issues, and leading/mentoring junior staff.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in municipal water treatment systems
- PE registration
- Experience with water treatment, water quality, and regulatory compliance
- Active participation in professional organizations
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Responsibilities
