About The Position

The Municipal Coordinator acts as the face of Republic Services to members of the public, as well as commercial/industrial business owners in our municipal contracted cities. The Municipal Coordinator is responsible for the planning and execution of community events, school engagements, public education or recycling education throughout their market, to position and grow the Republic Services brand, as well as comply with municipal contract obligations. The role and tasks completed by the Municipal Coordinator are directly connected to our goals of being a good neighbor and differentiating the Company in the communities that we serve, making the Municipal Coordinator a vital member of the Municipal team.

Requirements

  • Must be currently serving, Active Duty, U.S. Armed Forces Servicemember
  • Must be within one year of your End of Active Service transition date
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and participate in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective task management skills
  • High level of motivation
  • Great attitude and desire to learn and grow
