Municipal Coordinator
About The Position
The Municipal Coordinator is responsible for the daily monitoring of Municipal trash routes and maintaining active and healthy relationships with City Staff. The main goal for this role is to ensure routes are completed in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, and ensure good communication with City Staff and Municipal Drivers. The Municipal Coordinator is a hands-on leadership role. This role requires strong leadership abilities, a good understanding of routing efficiency, problem solving, exceptional customer service skills, and a good understanding of Municipal rules and regulations. The Municipal Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency of routes by ensuring good communication with the Municipal Drivers while ensuring exceptional service to our contracted Municipalities.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Municipal team, ensuring alignment with the company's core values, goals and objectives.
- Foster a culture of safety, excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the line of business.
- Develop and implement efficient strategies and procedures to optimize Municipal performance, and to make concise and clear decisions rapidly.
- Oversee day-to-day Municipal & Delivery routes utilizing the Soft-Pak platform and identify areas for improvement to enhance productivity.
- Collaborate with the Municipal Manager, Residential Manager, or the Residential Coordinator concerning route situations that rapidly arise.
- Answering phone calls from Municipal Drivers and Delivery Drivers concerning route issues.
- Utilize the Soft-Pak platform to sequence and load Municipal routes & Delivery routes for the following day.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Communicate with Municipalities to provide daily driver activity reports, work order processing and verification, and ensure satisfactory service.
- Preparing monthly audits for all Municipalities, ensuring at least a 99% accuracy, and overseeing Municipal Billing utilizing the Soft-Pak platform.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and reporting requirements.
