About The Position

Crowe is seeking individuals who are curious, adaptable, and eager to learn to join their Consulting Practice as a Municipal Advisory team member. In this role, consultants will focus on helping clients resolve business needs by analyzing data and developing, crafting, and implementing business and technology solutions. Consultants are expected to build both technical and transferable skills, think critically, and use technology to solve real business problems. This role involves continuous learning, collaboration across teams, and exploring how tools, including emerging AI capabilities, can improve efficiency, insights, and client outcomes. As consultants grow, they will take ownership of client relationships, contribute to account strategy, and support the delivery of high-impact work. Developing a sense of account leadership, understanding client needs, ensuring delivery excellence, and building trusted partnerships are key aspects of success. Success in this role is driven by a growth mindset, strong communication skills, advanced critical thinking, and the ability to navigate new challenges with confidence.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Quick learner, possess good communication skills, able to work alone with little supervision and work effectively in teams, able to meet deadlines, have a strong client service orientation.
  • This position requires travel to local (Indiana) client meetings.
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's (varies depending on role pursuing) in Accounting, Finance, operations/supply chain management, MIS, Operations Management, or related fields depending on desired role.
  • Working toward Series 50 License

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a municipal advisor to government clients for the issuance of short- and long-term debt
  • Work with and support the engagement team on municipal and financial matters
  • Develop detailed financial models and reports
  • Conduct analyses
  • Prepare amortization schedules
  • Attend client and public meetings
  • Analyze revenue and expenditures streams
  • Prepare deliverables including but not limited to offering documents; various consultant reports; rate studies; presentations
