We are currently seeking a Full-Time Multisystemic Therapist to join our Multisystemic Therapy Program in Ulster County. You’ll be working with families of teens (ages 12-17) to tackle tough challenges and create positive outcomes. As part of our MST team, you’ll receive comprehensive training in an evidence-based model and work closely with families, schools, and service providers to implement solutions that foster: Improved school attendance and performance Stronger family relationships Positive social connections Reduced high-risk behaviors, such as running away, aggression, stealing, and substance use

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in a mental health field (licensed clinician or able to be licensed preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with families (community-based work preferred).
  • A valid New York driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Limited permits welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with families, schools, and service providers to implement solutions that foster improved school attendance and performance, stronger family relationships, positive social connections, and reduced high-risk behaviors.
  • Conduct sessions in families' homes.
  • Provide 24/7 phone support to clients.
  • Partner with schools, probation officers, and other community members to create holistic solutions for families.
  • Utilize a wide range of clinical skills, including cognitive behavioral therapy and family systems theory.
