Family Therapist Longmont
About The Position
Savio is hiring family therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy (MST) in Longmont, CO, and surrounding counties. MST is a scientifically proven treatment model targeting youth aged 12-17 exhibiting delinquent behaviors. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers, conducting therapy in families' homes and the community to prevent out-of-home placement or incarceration, break cycles of system involvement, and empower families to create lasting change. This position offers a flexible and autonomous work schedule, a dynamic team environment, and free supervision towards licensure. Savio will pay for all MST training.
Requirements
- Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field.
- Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
- DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC.

Responsibilities
- Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
- Conduct therapy in the community, in family’s homes.
- Use the following theories: CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
- Prevent out of home placement/incarceration.
- Break cycle of system involvement.
- Empower families to create lasting change.
- Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
- Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.
