The Multisystemic Therapist conducts assessments and treatment with youth and families involved in the Juvenile Justice Incentive Grant Program. Multisystemic Therapists engaged the primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment implement problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, and outcome review and strategy revision procedures. Multisystemic Therapists maintain clear documentation and participate in supervisory review and feedback and demonstrate compliance with the 9 MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process. It is also important for the Multisystemic Therapy Supervisor to build and maintain working relationships with referral sources, other child-serving agencies and contract holders to assure approval for services for youth and families served, as needed.
