The Department of Surgery is seeking applicants for the position of Multispecialty Office Manager. This critical role provides day-to-day management and oversight of over 10 subspecialties across the divisions of Gastrointestinal Surgery / Surgical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, and ENT. The position directs, supervises, and coordinates daily operational activities while also being responsible for clinical and clerical personnel. Under the supervision and leadership of associated Ambulatory/Operations Administrator(s), a successful candidate will work well in a matrix structure, possess strong skills in team building and employee development, and foster a culture of excellence in all aspects of clinical and clerical functions. In consultation with the Ambulatory Administrator and/or Director, the manager will oversee the logistical operations of a sub-specialty center with multiple sub-specialties catering to medically complex patients. Responsibilities include directing, supervising, and coordinating daily operational activities, managing personnel, supplies, equipment, and patient financial interactions (co-payments, co-insurance, cash handling). The role demands exemplary customer service and ensures high standards are met by all staff. The manager will serve as a liaison between programs and Administrative Directors, monitoring and adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
