Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification required
• Requires Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment; rapid learning and navigation of multiple software systems; effective English communication (read/write/speak); ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Handle with Care preferred
• ED or Registration experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care activities as delegated, including: Monitoring and recording vital signs, Obtaining blood glucose measurements, Tracking and documenting patient intake and output
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Grooming, Feeding and meal assistance
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing team promptly.
• Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked patient rooms and care areas.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties in support of nursing station operations.
• Accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
