About The Position

Manteca Unified School District (MUSD) is hiring a Multiple Subject Teacher for George McParland Annex. MUSD works with families and the community to provide a meaningful, measurable, student-centered program aligned to grade-level standards, prioritizing safety and supporting emerging students. The district serves approximately 25,000 students across more than 30 schools in Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, and French Camp, offering traditional and alternative educational settings in communities ranging from rural to urban.

Applicants must submit the required materials through their online EDJOIN application; mailed, emailed, or faxed documents will not be considered for online screening. If hired, candidates must complete TB clearance and fingerprinting at their own expense. MUSD offers an in-house Teacher Induction Program at no cost and accepts up to 21 years of full-time school experience. Medical plans may involve out-of-pocket expenses.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
• Submit a letter of interest and resume with the online application.
• Submit a valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or unofficial transcripts from all colleges and universities attended; transcripts are required for all pre-interns.
• Pre-interns must submit a letter from the credential program in which they are currently enrolled.
• Provide proof of EL Authorization if it is not embedded in the California credential.
• Submit two current letters of recommendation dated within the last 12 months. Letters should be from a current or former principal, assistant principal, department chair, program director, or supervisor. Applicants new to teaching in California may submit a letter from a university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor.
• Credential copy must show subject description, expiration date, and EL Authorization.
• If hired, complete TB clearance and fingerprinting at employee cost.
