Multimodality Technologist
About The Position
Under minimal supervision, performs complex diagnostic imaging procedures in at least two modalities as requested by a licensed physician. Produces high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. Provides the radiologist with pertinent clinical information and demonstrates complete working knowledge of the modalities and related equipment. Performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate technical skills. Participates in quality, process, and performance improvement initiatives as requested. Completes timely documentation in radiology computer systems and meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence. Completes established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
- ARRT (R) certification required.
- Documentation of CT or MRI experience required.
- Must obtain an advanced credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- State license required.
- ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree preferred.
- Two years of clinical experience in more than one modality preferred.
- ARRT CT or MRI preferred.
