About The Position

Univision San Antonio is looking for a Temporary Multimedia Technician to join our team! This is a hands-on position, and it requires ability to edit and create multimedia (video/graphics/audio), manipulate creative artwork, write scripts, and do camera work in studio and on field. Perform VizRT operations during live broadcasts, Work with news producers to create and review graphic rundowns for live broadcasts among other technical requirements on the control room. Applicants must have a good understanding of broadcast design and multimedia technologies. Candidates need to be able to take a project from start to finish under minimal supervision and have knowledge of content production for linear, digital, and social/emerging platforms. Most importantly, the perfect candidate should have good attitude, be proactive and work well in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition)
• Experience with professional camcorders and DSLRs (Canon, Panasonic, and Sony)
• Experience with field production lighting, audio recording, green screen, and studio production environment
• Proficient in written and oral Spanish and English
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be willing to work from office in San Antonio, TX.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Nice To Haves

• iNews, VizRT, vCreative, Smartsheet and news gathering tools is a plus
• Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Provide the technical production and promotional support for live broadcasts, news and commercials productions including TV, radio, digital and local events.
