The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) at Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Multimedia Specialist I in Boca Raton, FL. The Center for Online and Continuing Education (COCE) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multimedia Specialist I to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Director of Multimedia and Innovation, you will join a high-energy, collaborative team dedicated to producing high-quality online course content. From virtual production studio recordings to innovative AI-assisted post-production, your work will directly impact the learner's experience.

Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution in a relevant field of specialization.
At least 2 years of professional video production experience.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Experience with cinema cameras, DSLRs, GoPro/360° cameras, and professional lighting/audio equipment.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of video production, including pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing for diverse multimedia projects.
Conduct on-location and studio recordings; manage the transportation, setup, and teardown of equipment.
Proactively research and implement generative AI tools (text-to-video, AI voiceovers, image generation) to streamline production timelines and enhance visual storytelling.
Troubleshooting computer hardware and video production tools to ensure seamless project delivery.
Develop and lead both live and pre-recorded training sessions for staff and faculty.
Manage content embedding, network share organization, and the processing of captions to ensure accessibility standards are met.
Collaborate with the instructional design team to conceptualize creative solutions for complex learning needs.
Remain adaptable to a fast-paced, frequently changing environment, taking on other duties as assigned by leadership.
Provide expertise and consultation on multimedia best practices, accessibility standards, and emerging technologies to faculty and staff.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
