About The Position

The Multimedia Production Specialist provides professional multimedia production services, including videography, photography, video and photo editing, content development, equipment management, and digital archive management. The role develops content aligned with S/E-ATEV messaging and Department of State branding guidelines. The position is located in Washington, DC, and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; Secret clearance is preferred.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional videography and photography experience.
• Proficiency in video and photo editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• A portfolio demonstrating high-quality multimedia production work.
• Experience capturing events and producing content for government or corporate clients.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video footage of events, engagements, interviews, and official activities.
• Provide professional photography services for events, portraits, and documentary purposes.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products, including promotional videos, highlight reels, and social media content.
• Process and edit photographs for official use, publications, and digital platforms.
• Develop multimedia content aligned with S/E-ATEV messaging and Department of State branding guidelines.
• Maintain and operate professional-grade cameras, lighting, audio, and editing equipment.
• Organize and maintain digital libraries of photo and video assets.
