About The Position

FoodCorps seeks a Multimedia Production Manager to lead the creation of compelling creative assets – including video, photography, audio, and emerging digital formats – that showcase our mission and impact. You will bring our work to life by producing dynamic media that highlights our core programs, amplifying the stories of our school partnerships, leadership development, and policy advocacy. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end production and optimize content to resonate across diverse channels and audiences. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the entire Marketing & Communications team. This is a full-time, remote position and will require regular travel (up to 30%).

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in video production, photography, multimedia storytelling, or a related creative communications role
  • Strong technical skills in videography, photography, audio recording, and post-production software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Frame.io, CapCut, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience producing multimedia content for multiple formats
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple shoot schedules and concurrent timelines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with comfort conducting on-camera interviews and collaborating with contractors and diverse community partners
  • An eye for visual design, detail, brand consistency, and creative storytelling
  • Ability to give and receive constructive creative direction and feedback
  • Enthusiasm for FoodCorps’ work, with interest or professional experience in food, health, education, and/or child nutrition
  • Eagerness to work collaboratively with a close-knit, multi-skilled team

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pitch compelling multimedia storytelling opportunities that support campaigns across FoodCorps’ work, including school partnerships, leadership development programs, and policy advocacy
  • Direct, shoot, record, and edit high-quality video, photography, and audio projects – ranging from quick, vertical-first social media content to long-form narrative storytelling, from initial concept to final delivery
  • Tailor, package, and repurpose multimedia content to meet the technical and creative specs of social media, email campaigns, web, presentations, and other formats
  • Collaborate closely with the MarComms team to ensure all visual and audio assets align with FoodCorps' brand standards, tone, and messaging
  • Serve as the on-site producer for school visits and other content-gathering events, and manage logistics including (but not limited to) scheduling; location coordination; creative direction; shot lists; identifying and conducting interviews; and managing budgets
  • Coordinate contractors to support production capacity and specialized needs; manage contracts and process invoices
  • Manage the media release process to ensure all captured subjects, including students and program participants, are properly documented and approved for public distribution
  • Maintain production calendars and timelines to manage deliverables across multiple concurrent projects
  • Maintain, catalog, and archive FoodCorps' digital asset library (FoodCorps uses Canto), applying proper metadata and file organization to ensure assets are easily searchable and preserved for future use
  • Fulfill internal requests from staff across the organization for existing or custom editorial, photo, and video assets
  • Support FoodCorps staff and corps members in capturing user-generated multimedia content and leveraging assets for maximum impact
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends, technical best practices, and evolving multimedia production technologies to continually optimize workflows and asset quality
