About The Position

Informa TechTarget is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Multimedia Producer to help grow and support our multimedia operations and strategic goals. This role sits at the intersection of editorial strategy, production and workflow optimization, ensuring our award-winning journalism reaches audiences seamlessly across platforms. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is adept at solving technical challenges and can leverage emerging technologies to streamline production workflows. This person will play a critical role in supporting our journalists while managing the technical infrastructure that keeps our video and multimedia operations running smoothly. This position reports to the Editorial Director for Multimedia within our Centralized Operations team.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in video and audio editing and production, ideally within or working directly with newsrooms
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Experience with project management and tracking tools
  • Strong knowledge of audio and video recording best practices and equipment
  • Experience with remote digital recording platforms (i.e. Riverside, StreamYard, etc.)
  • Strong experience creating and optimizing social media content for various platforms (i.e. YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify, etc.) with knowledge of platform-specific best practices
  • Understanding of multimedia distribution platforms and analytics
  • Strong understanding of journalism principles and a respect for the business of media
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead through influence and push stakeholders toward common goals
  • Familiarity with AI tools for workflow automation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
  • Capacity to meet tight deadlines while working under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team structure

Responsibilities

  • Produce discussion and interview videos, guiding talent and ensuring best practices around lighting, framing and video/audio quality
  • Edit audio and video content, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards
  • Create engaging short-form content by cutting clips optimized for social media distribution
  • Draft compelling copy for LinkedIn posts and YouTube Short descriptions that drive engagement and viewership
  • Prepare and maintain intro/outro assets for consistent branding across all content
  • Upload finished content to YouTube and other distribution platforms, ensuring proper metadata and optimization
  • Oversee booking calendar to ensure seamless coordination across multiple recording sessions
  • Provide real-time technical support during podcast recordings, troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Organize and maintain a structured library of media assets for easy retrieval and repurposing
  • Identify and implement opportunities for workflow simplification using AI tools and automations
  • Track and report on podcast analytics across platforms to measure content distribution and engagement
  • Assist in training journalists on new technologies, tools and best practices
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to production processes and technical workflows
  • Collaborate with Editorial and Audience teams to align multimedia output with broader organizational goals
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations, timelines and deliverables
  • Support the broader content team in achieving strategic objectives through multimedia excellence
