About The Position
KMPH is looking for an Evening Multi-Media Journalist to join their team in Central California. This role involves honing skills for career advancement, thinking outside the box, and elevating storytelling with enhanced content on digital and social platforms. The candidate must be willing to work weekends and fill-in as an anchor or producer as needed.
Requirements
- Sharp news judgment
- Ability to tell an NPPA style story
- Excellent technical skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Strong writer with the ability to learn how to produce newscasts
- Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record
- A minimum of (2) years reporting experience is required
- Experience with live shots is required
