About The Position

KBAK/KBFX is looking for an Multi-Media Journalist (MMJ). This role involves reporting, shooting, and editing news stories, developing story ideas, cultivating contacts, and other assigned duties. The MMJ is expected to create daily content for multiple platforms, including television, the internet, social media, and mobile devices.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required
• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Live-U is a plus
