About The Position

Chandler Bolt and selfpublishing.com are seeking a versatile designer to own the visual identity of their brand across all touchpoints. The role involves elevating the brand's visual presence, focusing on creating engaging YouTube thumbnails, Instagram carousels, and high-converting landing pages. The designer will be the visual engine behind content, funnels, and the brand, utilizing sharp visual and storytelling instincts.

Requirements

• 4+ years of design experience.
• Demonstrable experience with thumbnails, carousels, and web or landing pages that have been demonstrably improved.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, and a web design tool (Webflow, Figma, or similar).
• Strong copywriting and storytelling instincts.
• Understanding of design as a growth lever and an eye for what converts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across video, social, and web without sacrificing quality.
• Comfortable taking feedback and iterating quickly and without ego.
• Portfolio link required to apply.
• Must be available to work Central Standard Time (Austin, TX) hours.

Responsibilities

• Produce YouTube thumbnails and Instagram carousels that align with and elevate the brand's visual standards.
• Design and improve landing pages, blog post pages, and website elements to convert visitors into leads and customers.
• Build speaker slides and presentation decks for key team members that are visually appealing and engaging.
• Apply strong visual storytelling and copywriting instincts to all assets, ensuring they effectively communicate and drive action.
• Maintain brand consistency across all graphics, pages, and assets, ensuring alignment with the visual identity.
• Manage multiple design requests simultaneously, prioritizing based on impact and delivering quality work quickly.
• Elevate all visual touchpoints to actively build trust and drive action.
