Multimedia Designer for Women's Basketball
About The Position
Washington Athletics has an outstanding opportunity for a Multimedia Designer to join their team. They are looking for a talented individual to be a key contributor to the creative success of the Women’s Basketball program. Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director for Brand Advancement, the Women’s Basketball Multimedia Designer is responsible for producing internal and external facing content (video, photo, and graphic) for the UW Women’s Basketball program. This position will be responsible for planning, creating, and promoting multi-media projects for the purpose of program branding, recruiting, and player promotion for the Women’s Basketball program. This is an on-site position in Seattle, WA, and requires travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, communications, business, public relations, or a related field. Professional experience may substitute for stated educational requirements.
- A minimum of two years of experience in video, multimedia production, and/or a related field.
- Understanding of mirrorless camera systems and operation.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experiences working in sports or a related field.
- Ability to update graphics packages/templates.
Responsibilities
- Development and production of content for recruiting purposes (40%)
- Schedule and create specialty content (35%)
- Manage social media accounts (15%)
- Ensure consistency with Marketing and Creative Services Teams (10%)
- Operate, setup, and tear down video equipment including lighting, cameras, tripods, and studio backdrops.
