About The Position

IQAir is hiring a Multimedia Designer III for its North American headquarters in La Mirada, California. The position combines design and marketing work, including in-house marketing collateral, print advertising, branding, and interactive projects. The designer creates and delivers visual layouts, graphic designs, and wireframes for multiple properties and platforms, including mobile and web, and develops creative material from concept through final artwork. The role calls for a solid understanding of intuitive site functionality and navigation and works directly with the Lead Multimedia Designer and the Graphic Design team.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Strong graphic design skills in typography, layout, composition, color theory, information design, and production management.
• Strong knowledge of graphic applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Keyshot, and wireframing tools.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, After Effects, Final Cut X, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• UI/UX experience for web and mobile applications.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch.
• Experience in e-commerce and a strong understanding of user-centric design methodologies.
• Creative ability to work with limited access to photography and design assets.
• Understanding of Agile and/or Scrum project management.
• Five years of professional experience as an interactive designer creating engaging, user-friendly designs for large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Strong design skills, creative ability, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic who can work independently, manage time, and take initiative.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the changing needs of a growing company.
• High attention to detail, flexibility, follow-through, and organizational skills.
• Professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Experience working with teams in a professional client-service manner and interacting with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Multimedia Designer and/or designee to create and execute company marketing campaigns.
• Use current UX, UI, and related design trends, including fluid, responsive, and parallax layouts.
• Create and deliver visual layouts, graphic designs, and wireframes for multiple properties across mobile, web, and other platforms.
• Design intuitive site functionality and navigation.
• Conceptualize, strategize, and execute designs across print, display, branded environments, events, and web, applying layout principles.
• Create website wireframes and apply basic website coding knowledge to support site launches.
• Coordinate project timing with internal teams and communicate project progress.
• Assist with video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production, for marketing campaigns, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Maintain production files so jobs are efficient and files and elements are easy to locate.
• Complete other special projects as assigned.
