About The Position

The Multimedia Designer will support the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence for this onsite opportunity.   Responsibilities: Apply the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate (ADDIE) Process of Multimedia development to ensure products meet validated training requirements and customer intent. Design, produce, maintain, and update level 0-4 IMI products including: 2D and 3D digital content, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed/Hybrid solutions.  All products shall comply with current Army Regulations and policies. Develop training products utilizing Government approved Artificial Intelligence (AI)  tools to: Mitigate training gaps caused by equipment shortages or access limitations; Enhance training realism, adaptability, and assessment capability;  Support institutional and operational training requirements. Provide design recommendations throughout the development lifecycle to improve usability, instructional effectiveness, and technical feasibility. Develop interactive training materials aligned with: Army approved training strategies, Program of Instruction (POI) requirements, Learning objectives and performance outcomes. Deliver all products to the Government for review, validation, and approval in accordance with: Contractor proposed timelines, government approved schedules, validation and verification requirements prior to acceptance.  All tools, platforms, and products shall be subject to Government validation and compliance review.  Conduct technology assessments to: Identify required software upgrades, Recommend lifecycle replacement of hardware/software components, Support Government lifecycle management planning. Ensure all products are fully interoperable and accessible, including: playable  across Apple, Android, and Windows platforms; Compatible with mobile and desktop devices (BYOD compliant); Integration with Army approved Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content Management System (CMS),  and repositories. Ensure all deliverables conform to: Section 508 accessibility requirements (as applicable), cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) constraints, and data protection and operational security requirements May be required to travel to other locations to participate in required training, conferences and briefings

Requirements

  • Education and Years of experience: Associates Degree with minimum 10 years of experience OR Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience OR Masters Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DOD Secret clearance
  • Experience must include producing animations, embedded games, etc., using 3-D modeling and animation software for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)
  • Minimum one year of experience using Adobe Captivate
  • Minimum two years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Audition, Photoshop).
  • Minimum two years of directly related, post-training experience in 2-D designs, illustrations, and layouts such as color theory, digital imaging, photography, and video/audio production
